Setting My Focus And Phrase Of The Year For 2024

At the start of every year, I like to set a bit of a focus. I also do this monthly most of the time, but the year is more an overarching one. I’m not totally one for resolutions, but I love to think about where I want to be in a year, then what’s actually achievable and make a goal from there.

A lot of business owners I know like to choose a word for the year. They want to focus on that thing for the year or something to work on finding in their life.

For me that’s just not specific enough, and a little too ambiguous. I also know a few people whose word has come back to bite them in weird ways. Maybe mine did last year a little, but it just helps me focus on it so much more when it’s a phrase rather than just a word.
